Dorset Buildings Group
This group, with a passion for buildings in Dorset, works with the National Trust and the Dorset Group of the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. They promote preservation of Dorset’s buildings traditions through conservation of old buildings and a sympathetic approach to new developments.
Lectures by specialists each winter are given monthly on Sundays at Holt Village Hall at 2.30pm followed by sociable tea and cake.Visits to sites of interest are made throughout the year. Monthly committee meetings are open to all members.

The subject of these lectures is mostly historical, cultural or geographical, often relevant to Dorset
and the South West. The 2019-2020 season theme is A Royal Flush.
Lectures take place on Saturday afternoons at 2.30pm in the Old School Sturminster Marshall.
